Dakota State University will be offers two online Introduction to Computers courses with faculty who specialize in using assistive technology software. These courses adhere to universal design and are available to all students, but students with disabilities are encouraged to enroll. The faculty who offer the courses use assistive technology software and can teach the students how to utilize the software tools to complete the lessons and assignments for the courses. Once the students learn how to control a computer with screen reading and/or voice recognition software, the students should have the computer skills and confidence necessary to pursue one of the many online degrees offered through DSU.
